We want to ensure that your experience is as relaxing, comfortable, and memorable as possible. Please take note of our below inn policies, established for the convenience and enjoyment of all of our guests.
The Rochester Inn does not normally require an advance deposit upon making a reservation. However, at the discretion of the innkeeper, deposits may be required for special events or multiple room bookings. A major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express) is required to secure your reservation. Your balance will be due at check-out.
Each guest reservation is important to us at The Rochester Inn. We are a small inn, and cancellations affect us greatly. In the event that your travel plans change, a $30 fee will be assessed if cancelled at least 14 days prior to the date of your reservation. If less than 14 days notice is provided, you will be charged for one evening’s stay if we are unable to rebook your room. If we are able to re-book your room, only the $30 fee will be assessed.
In the event that an advance deposit was required at the time of reservation and a cancellation is requested, all deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to rebook your room. If we are able to rebook your room, only the $30 fee will be assessed.
We understand that cancellations may be beyond your control. For this reason we recommend purchasing travel insurance for your peace of mind. You can purchase travel insurance here through iTravelInsured.
You are welcome to check in between 3:00-6:00 p.m. We ask that you email or call us on the day of your arrival with your expected arrival time, as we are not always on premise. If an earlier or later check-in is required, please contact us at least one day prior to your stay to make special arrangements.
For the comfort and safety of our guests, all interior areas of The Rochester Inn are entirely smoke-free. A $75 cleaning fee will be assessed, at the discretion of the innkeeper, for lack of compliance with this policy. Smoking is permitted within our outdoor garden courtyard.
We are happy to welcome your small dog (under 25 lbs) with advance arrangements in designated guest rooms. Dogs must be crated while you are not in your guest room and on a leash, with owner, when outdoors on property. A $35 pet cleaning fee, regardless of length of stay, will be added to your bill. Please contact us to make your reservation if traveling with your dog.
Our rates are based on single or double occupancy and may change without notice. However, rates will not change once a reservation is confirmed. Seasonal demand may affect minimum night stay requirements. Rates do not include tax of 10.5%.
